Hannah M. Chapman, MA

Research Specialist

Hannah Chapman is a Research Specialist in the Department of Geriatric Psychiatry at Emory University’s School of Medicine. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Mary’s College of Maryland in May of 2017 and moved to Washington, D.C. in August of 2017 to pursue her Master’s in Psychology. After completion of her Master’s, she relocated to Atlanta in July of 2019 to work on Dr. Adriana Hermida’s research project examining the impact of electroconvulsive therapy on agitation symptoms associated with Alzheimer’s Disease.  Eventually, Hannah hopes to return to school and earn her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. Relatedly, she is looking forward to furthering both her research experience and her general understanding of psychiatric disorders, especially as they relate to older adults. She is excited about the learning experiences she will gain through her time working at Emory, and how these experiences will shape her future in the field of Psychology.
