Rebecca Ruth Seidemann

Clinical Research Coordinator II

Rebecca joined the Emory team in September 2018, shortly after graduating from Connecticut College with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Her experience in the mental health field has taken many forms, including a suicidality research internship at Butler Hospital, forensic and criminology courses in Canterbury, England, and sign language tutoring in her hometown. Rebecca hopes to continue her education in the field as a clinical psychology Ph.D. candidate.

At the Treatment-Resistant Depression clinic, Rebecca’s duties involve clinical work, research, and the intersection of the two. She assists in assessing patients and follows their progress as they pursue their treatments. Rebecca is also responsible for managing the clinic databases and the research data team. The TRD clinic hopes to use the data it is collecting to improve its ability to provide the most appropriate treatments to patients.
