Dermatology Advisor (12/21, Jacobs) reported researchers found that “patients with atopic dermatitis (AD) have a higher likelihood of clinical depression, depressive symptoms, parental depression, use of antidepressants, and suicidality compared with individuals without AD.” The findings were published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.
