Healio (4/19, Downey) reports, “Self-reported symptoms of anxiety and depression were higher among men aged 50 years and older with vision impairment, compared with those with normal vision,” researchers concluded in a study that “examined vision impairment and self-reported symptoms of anxiety and depression among those aged 50 years and older in Kogi State, Nigeria.” The findings of the 3,926-participant study were published online April 6 in the journal International Health.
