Healio (11/10, Herpen) reports, “Treatment with suvorexant and lemborexant may be effective for preventing delirium in critically ill adult patients,” investigators concluded in a “retrospective observational study” that “included 633 individuals aged 18 years and older, who were admitted to the emergency and critical care center at Saga University Hospital in Japan between July 2018 and November 2021.” The findings were published online Nov. 7 in the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry.
